GSS School Swimming Sports
Tuesday 9th March 
for year 4-6 students

A huge congratulations to all of our students that competed today. They were all so awesome!
Also a huge thank you to all the parents and staff that helped out with Swimming Sports today. We cannot run these events without you! Thank you all so much, you are very much appreciated.
Many thanks also to Scott Bartlett from Bartlett Swim School for hosting us.
Thanks also to the parents and whanau that were able to come along and support our swimmers. 
I am sure everyone there will agree how well all our children tried today, and the support from the benches was amazing!

Starts 14th Feb  - 11th Apr
Cost $75  per player (TBC) if fees are different we will advise parents
Grades are all mixed gender
Year 3&4  (6 aside - pool width) Advisable to be a confident swimmer
Year 5&6 A & B  (6 aside - pool length)  Must be able to confidently swim 100m (4 lengths) unassisted.

Location: Golden Sands School 
Years 1-4 (all abilities) 
Terms fee: $80 Duration: x8 sessions*
This is a multi-sport programme designed for our younger students enabling them to try several different sports.  Included is a range of team and individual sports that may include Football, Basketball, Cricket, Tennis, Volleyball, Hockey, Netball, Dodgeball, Golf, Rippa, Martial Arts, Orienteering and more

TERM 2 (2021)

GSS School Cross Country
Tuesday 25th May 11am - 12.30pm
for year 4-6 students

Our competitive school cross country will be held here at school on Tuesday 25th May 11am - 12.30pm.  
All year 4-6 children are encouraged to take part in this event, however it is not compulsory.
Children do not need to sign up to take part, they can just choose to run on the day if they like.
The run starts and finishes in the school grounds and children run out and around the reserve at the back of the school.
Year 4's run 1.5km, Years 5&6 run 2.5km
Children are strongly encouraged to wear running shoes.
We will require some parent helpers to marshal for the event to make sure our children are all safe when running around the reserve.

Fun Cross Country & Whanau Day
Thursday  13th May 11am - 12.30pm

We would like to invite parents, caregivers, grandparents, siblings...all whanau, please come along and join in our Fun Cross Country and Whanau Day.

Children can come to shool dressed inthe whanau group colours.

Bring a picnic lunch and stay to share it with your whanau.
